My first attempt to making Kimbap

What is Kimbap to begin with? Well...kimbap is like a sushi roll, with no fresh fish in it, that's how I describe it. It is made with steamed white rice, and ingredients such as: fish cake, fried eggs, carrots, spinach and much more. Oh, and don't forget gim, which is sheets of dried seaweed :)

I made my kimbap within 5 minutes. I used little ingredients and did it fast. I only put in three ingredients, such as steamed white rice, eggs and shredded dried pork that I got at the Asian super market.

So first I placed a sushi roller mat that is made out of bamboo on top on a cutting board. This is what the mat looks like:

Next, I took steamed white rice and had put it on top...I had even it out for it to cover half of the gim. Like this:

Then next up, I added the shredded dried pork all over the rice, I had put it on the rice evenly...and the shredded dried pork comes in a container like this:

And then next, I had fired some eggs and had put it in the middle of the gim that had rice and the shredded pork on it. Sorry I don't have a picture for this part...but then yeah, you then roll it and then cut it :D

This is my outcome:

It came out pretty good, but not as pretty and neat as I thought..but I learned what I did wrong, and I'm gonna do more next time :) If you can, you should learn this too, its fast and easy, but also tastes great! <3
