First Time Ever Being on the Freeway!

I had went to Guardian Angel driving school in January, got done with class in 4 days, and had passed and got my permit by January 21,2009. So it was time for me to drive around...I have been driving on local streets and driving to school. But never on the freeway before. But today was the day. I had woke up early to drive. hahaha Because there is a little bit of cars out..It was around 4:30 A.M. you can say that I'm crazy, but ehhh. Even though I told myself that I wanted to drive on the freeway, I never thought that I was actually going to do it today. But I did. It was cool, but then scary. I believe that the fastest that I have went today was about 80mph. But I had mostly drove at about 65mph, since that was what the speed limit say. hahaha. Words really can't describe how I feel. I really have the curves and turns, since your going so fast, turning and curving is hard :/. I'm just happy that nothing happened :) So yeah, that was my day, and what I did at about 4:30 in the morning :D

Movie day & Nasty eggrolls

So ever since Wednesday, me and a couple of friends planned that we were going to go watch Transformers at the Krikorian theater in Redlands. I woke up at 8:56 A.M. and rushed to get ready. First thing that I did was turn on my computer to see if my friend was on. My uncle was outside in the living room, and I hate seeing guest first thing in the morning. So I ran to the bathroom quickly, to brush my teeth. Next I took my hair straightener to my room, and started curling my hair. (Yes, I curl my hair with a straightener, and yes, its possible) :). So I went to go eat breakfast, and to my surprise, my parents makes me wash the dishes, first thing in the morning...when I'm about to go somewhere -__-, but its okay, because I got the job done. But what surprised me the most, was that my mom had made Thai Tea with Boba, yum, my favorite :). So next, I had went back to my room and had to re-curl my hair, because they all came loose :/. So then I still starting talking to my friend and talking about what we were going to do after the movie and what not. And my mom came in, saw me getting ready, and asked what time I was going to be home. (I hate telling her what time, because if I don't go home by that time, they get mad). So I said.."I don't know" So, she took me to my friend's house so their sister can drive us to the theater. So we got to the theater, bought the tickets..and had to wait for my other two friends to come, but one of my friend was there and told me that the line was very long, and so me and my friend Amy stood in line for like an hour, talking..while the boys were off playing in the arcade. Then the line starting moving. And then it stopped. And then it moved again, and this time, we got to go in, and i rushed up the stairs to get a good sit. (Last time I was at Krikorian, I was in the first row) So we watched all the preview..and the preview for "Gamer" was good, I want to go see that movie now :D. So on with my story..and Transformers 2 was awesome, the effects were better then I thought, but I think the story line...ehhh could have been better..so I give it about a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10. So after the movies..we all walked to the Redland's mall..and me and Amy took some pictures in the Photo Booth thingy..thats what we did last time..if only I can bring my scanner up to my room..but too much work, so you guys can't see the pictures :/. So then after that, we went to go look for food, so we walked to the Von's place..and saw a Chinese Open Kitchen area, and Subways. Me and my friend Amy wanted Chinese food, so what happens, we go in there, and look at the menu and wanted to cry, why do they have to put everything..with white rice? seriously. So we wanted to leave to go to Subways..but then felt bad if we had already sat down and ordered nothing by soda...so we got Eggrolls. They were stuffed with Lettuce and rolled and fired. When eating it..I wanted to cry. But didn't, hurried and paid, and left to Subways. So we ate there, and after we were done, we walked to an abandon train station. And it was cool, and nice that we weren't in the hot sun anymore. And then I went home. So that was my day :)

It wasn't as detailed as I wanted it to be. But I'm tired. LOL. :D

Gatherings; if only little kids would stay in one spot

In the Vietnamese culture..or either if you are Buddhist there comes a time that if a family member passed a way, then we would have a memorial for them, like a little family gathering. So today came the day of my dad's mom's day, the day that she had passed away. We had a little gathering..and when I mean little I mean...WOW. It was a lot of people, a lot of people that I did not want to come (not to be mean, but I hate having family gatherings...with their little precious kids over). I had to woke up kinda early, help clean the house, set everything up, help cook the food, help take care of my sister..help help help help help. Yep that was the first beginning. But it was nice, since my friend Amy and Victor came over to help out..mostly Amy helped though. hahaha, but it was nice of them to have came early like that. So I got bored, and me and Amy made cupcakes. And I was venting to her about all the little things I was getting worked up on. So as people started to arrived..I wanted to kill myself even more. Little kids running around everything, taking things that don't belong to them, yelling and screaming for no reason, go into my room and spill soda :(, take my candy without asking and well, just being kids...and I forgot to mention, they were all boys :/ 2 years old and up to 15 year old :/ What I had tried to do was take as much pictures of I can..of the food. hahaha, and I wanted to share them with you, enough with my long story.


That was the cooler thingy, with the soda for the kids and some adults; since some would rather prefer to drink beer, and that is why there is half and half.


Talking about the cupcakes, me and my friend Amy made..here is a picture..(might not be a good picture, but it was the best out of all the cupcake pictures)


This is one of the deserts that I had to make...just some simple Asian fruits with Asian jell-o that my mom had add food coloring in to make it blue and green with half and half:


One of the main dishes that my mom made, was Bánh xèo. It is a crepe-like stuffed with meat, shrimp and bean sprouts.


And another main dish was spring rolls...there were many option to choose from, from beef to shrimp and many others, and this is what my mom made for me. haha (Although all you can see is the lettuce)

My aunt had made Asian jell-o also, but she made them with these nice shape thingys..so this was the one that I didnt get to take a picture of before and got eaten..

So yeah, way more stuff, and people, but I only had time to take those pictures :/ maybe next time I will take more. :D haha..

My younger days: Coloring

Don't you ever miss being a little kid? What I did most when I was little, was color :). I brought hello kitty coloring books, to even barbie coloring books. And what I tried to do, was stay in the lines. I haven't colored for the longest time, and so I decided that I was going to color. hahaha. So i printed out coloring pages, since I no longer have my coloring books. So I had chose to color first, was this Strawberry Shortcake picture..and its the strawberry shortcake cake. haha not the little girly cartoon. One thing that had wowed my most, was that it took me about TWO hours just to color a little picture, my how tiring it is now. And I wanted to share my pictures with you.

I didn't know what colors to put, so I went on paint to color it first to see what real colors I'm going to use later:

I had started coloring around 11 o'clock and finished at 1:02 in the morning, which had really surprised me..all that time into coloring something so little, maybe I am just getting old. hahaha

Paper Stars :)

This is hard to believe, but being 16 years of age, I NEVER been to a 7-Eleven till June 10, 2009. hahaha. It was after graduation when my friend Rayvonn took me and my friend Rita to go to 7-Eleven, I might not have showed it, but I was pretty excited (so lame. lol) but yeah, so we got slurpees, I had never had a slurpee, only icees. So I believe that I got a medium size cup and got this red slurpee (I forgot want flavor it was) and I thought that it would be cool if I put my star paper in there, until it gets filled up. Cleaning my room, I had found quite a few stars, when I mean quite a few...I mean A LOT. Well so I took a picture of the slurpee cup with my stars in it to show you how far I am from reaching to the top. And yes the slurpee was good :)

Cleaning my Room; Before and After

So, I do this thing, where I change and re-arrange everything in my room once a year. I have gone from moving my bed to different spots in my room, to painting my room a green color, because the pink in my room last time made it too "girly". haha. Well so summer break had started, and now I'm on my way to being a senior in high school. So I had to go and make some arrangements, I need to have a room that looks sophisticated, clean, and of course, new.

so this was my desk before the paint job:

So yeah, that is my room now, clean and nice :) hopefully it will
be that way for a very long time. hahaha
